Member Bio
Jiu-Jitsu has been a big part of my life for many years. When a disabling spinal condition forced me to step away from my career, training, and much of the life I knew, I needed something to keep me busy, grounded, and connected to the sport I love. GrappleLinks started as a simple way to organize technique videos scattered across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and our phones, making them easier to find and share with friends. What began as a small personal project has grown into a community-driven hub for sharing knowledge, discovering techniques, and bringing the Jiu-Jitsu community together. Community built one link at a time.
Competition History
While lining in China it was a common weekly tjing on Fridays fight against other students to test different styles under pressure.
Martial Arts Background
My martial arts journey spans over 25 years, exploring a wide range of disciplines including Kung Fu, Wing Chun, Sanda, Boxing, Muay Thai, Aikido, Judo, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I spent a year living and training intensively at a martial arts academy in China, studying traditional and modern Chinese martial arts. My experience also includes extensive weapons training, particularly Filipino stick and knife fighting, traditional Chinese weapons, bo staff, and kubotan techniques. I hold a Master rank in Modern Arnis, a green belt in Judo, and a 1st degree purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Throughout my journey, I've had the privilege of sharing my knowledge through teaching and coaching, while continuing to value the lifelong pursuit of learning and improvement.
