About the Academy

𝗛𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗭𝗢𝗡 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗝𝗜𝗨-𝗝𝗜𝗧𝗦𝗨 𝗔𝗖𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗠𝗬 𝗔𝗖𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗠𝗬 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 Horizon International Jiu-Jitsu Academy is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy located in the heart of Songdo, Incheon, South Korea. Founded on the belief that students deserve more than simply a place to train, Horizon is dedicated to providing a complete educational experience that develops technical understanding, critical thinking, and a lifelong appreciation for the art of Jiu-Jitsu. Led by head instructor Brian Chang, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt with over two decades of experience, Horizon combines traditional Jiu-Jitsu foundations with modern, internationally recognized training methods. The academy emphasizes evidence-based instruction, technical precision, and a structured approach to skill development. At the heart of the academy is the Horizon Method, a carefully developed educational system designed to guide students from their first class toward becoming knowledgeable, independent practitioners. Through progressive learning, clearly defined milestones, and a comprehensive curriculum, students gain an understanding not only of how techniques work, but why they work. Horizon welcomes beginners, recreational practitioners, and competitive athletes who share a passion for learning and continuous improvement. The academy places particular importance on creating an environment where questions are encouraged, curiosity is valued, and students are supported throughout their development. Private instruction is available by arrangement, and the academy advertises training availability throughout public holidays.
